Birthdays!Each year, no matter what age we may turn, we always look forward to our Birthdays…
It could be because of the party you know you’ll get, or the extra time with the family you might spend, or even for the huge chocolate cake you’ll find yourself nibbling at for the next week.
This week we celebrated a birthday in the Marketing Department and for every birthday there is preparation to be done! This meant coming in early to set up the department with banners and balloons and filling the desk with cards and presents to surprise our co-worker when they arrived.
We have a tradition here at Routeco that the birthday person should bring in an assortment of cakes, biscuits and not to mention savoury goods for everyone to enjoy. (That’s if you are lucky enough to reach the desk in time to catch the sausage rolls which usually disappear after the first minute…)
After this we look forward to celebrating with a meal to make sure they have been well and truly spoilt for their birthday!
