We are looking to recruit an External Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have industry experience, technical knowledge and commercial acumen to continue to build relationships with existing customers and well as the drive and enthusiasm to secure new business. Duties for this include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with Area Sales Manager on all sales and commercial activities
- The achievement of sales targets in relation to turnover and profitability
- Business planning and review meetings
- Present to various audiences subject matter of products and services
Internal Technical Sales (Peterlee)
We are looking to recruit an Internal Technical Sales member to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical knowledge to the internal sales team, whilst developing and maintaining customer relationships and promoting Routeco’s products and services to maximise sales opportunities. Duties for this include, but are not limited to:
- Deal with customer orders and enquiries appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Promote and advise on compatible products and services whilst maintaining high levels of customer service
- Check and ensure the customer is advised on; availability of product, pricing and appropriate discounts
- Meet the branch KPI’s to maximise sales; maintain and grow the number of trading accounts; and increase the range of products sold.
