Routeco are proud to support MK SNAP in their recruitment campaign for two Autism Teaching & Learning Mentors, and two Teaching & Learning Mentors. Located in Milton Keynes, MK SNAP is a charity whose purpose is to offer work and life skills training to individuals aged 16+ who have physical and leaning difficulties.
The principle accountabilities for these roles are:
- Support learners individually or as part of a group to participate in a range of learning activities within a variety of settings at MK SNAP
- Help learners who have learning difficulties and disabilities, behavioural emotional and social development needs, sensory or physical impairment needs to access a variety of learning experiences
- Support learners in developing the literacy, language, numeracy and ICT skills they will require to be successful on their learning programmes
- Autism Accreditation or equivalent experience (Autism Teaching and Learning Mentor)
- Accreditation or equivalent experience (Teaching and Learning Mentor)
- Demonstrate suitability for working with children, young people and vulnerable adults
