The Stratix 5700 switch is a cost effective, small form factor, highly scalable layer 2 managed switch, designed to meet a broad range of network architectures from small machine level applications to convergence-ready or IT-ready integrated network infrastructures. Like the Stratix 8000 family, the Stratix 5700 uniquely includes the advanced Cisco switching technology (IOS) plus premiere integration (CIP interface) to the Integrated Architecture providing configuration and monitoring tools for both IT and manufacturing professionals helping to bridge the gap between the two organizations.
